This Nintendo Direct reaction video was my first commission for Mellana that set the pace for the rest of the work to come. Editing decisions are mostly left up to my discretion, with Mellana mentioning a few core focuses for direction. I tend to keep the work between two and four hours to keep costs down while still maintaining polish and a tight highlight.
Two examples of stream VOD highlights. One is a little more frenetic, highlighting comedy and noteworthy moments, while the other highlights skilled play and Mellana's welcoming and cozy nature as an entertainer. Both very fun to work on!
Lastly, here's a vlog we put together documenting her trip to PAX West for a Nintendo sponsored Splatoon 3 tournament. It was a pretty scrappy project, but that made it all the more fun to find the story and tie it all together.
